Throughout their service life, technical products are exposed to a wide variety of environmental influences that affect their function, service life, quality and dependability. For technical and economic reasons it is important to construct and manufacture them so that they can resist harmful influences in a real-life context, and continue to function reliably.

In special technical units, environmental influences are stimulated on technical products. The environmental effects are subsequently determined and the products evaluated. Tailored tests have also been developed.

In our service centre for environmental simulation we simulate:

  • Corrosion / corrosive gases / salt-mists

  • Pressure / pressure change

  • Climate / temperature

  • Temperature shock

  • Splash effects

  • Dust / water

  • Chemical resistance

  • IP protection category

  • Vibration

  • Mechanical shock

  • Sun
