Compounding / material development
Optimised plastic components require optimised materials and material systems. Nowadays the demands placed on components can only be met by modified polymers. The Fraunhofer Institute for Chemical Technology (ICT) is a competent and experienced partner in the field of material development:

• Material compounding / development / characterizing
• Biopolymer composites
• Electrically conductive compounds
• Fibre reinforced polymers (e.g. injection moulding compounder)
• Purification of recyclates
